What's the difference between 'Duplication' and 'Replication'?

Duplication is a process used for shorter runs (usually upto 500 units) where your Master discs is copied and the contents are then 'burned' to blank discs. This service offers an inkjet print on the disc surface and a selection from any of our packaging options.

Replication is recommended for larger runs (usually 500 + discs) which involves us producing a Glass Master and then 'pressing' your blank discs rather than burning. This is a more cost-effective option for larger runs and results in a higher compatibility rating with a wider range of players. Taking the Replication option also means we can litho print your artwork to the disc face which matches the quality of commercial discs you see in the shops.
